1. Agreement

By using the ScreenBreak iOS app, TestFlight builds, or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ScreenBreak.

2. What ScreenBreak is

ScreenBreak is a parental screen-time tool for Apple devices. Parents pair devices with a six-digit code and manage routines using Apple Screen Time frameworks. Family settings sync with CloudKit and may also sync nearby via Multipeer Connectivity.

3. TestFlight beta

ScreenBreak is currently offered as a TestFlight beta. Beta software may be incomplete, change without notice, or contain bugs. Features described on the marketing site may evolve before a public App Store release. Access may be limited or revoked.

4. Eligibility and parental responsibility

ScreenBreak is intended for parents or legal guardians who manage a child’s device. You are responsible for configuring limits appropriately, supervising use, and complying with Apple Family Controls / Screen Time requirements. You represent that you have authority to manage the devices you enroll.

5. Accounts and pairing

The current app does not require a separate ScreenBreak email/password account hosted by us. Pairing uses a short-lived six-digit code. Keep pairing codes private and share them only with people you intend to authorize.

6. Subscriptions and Apple billing

When subscriptions are available, purchases are made through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payment and taxes. Pricing shown on this website (for example $7.99/month or $69.99/year) is marketing information and may change; the App Store price and terms at purchase control. Manage, cancel, or request refunds according to Apple’s policies and your Apple ID subscription settings.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse ScreenBreak, attempt to bypass parental controls you do not own, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, or use ScreenBreak for unlawful purposes.

8. Intellectual property

ScreenBreak name, logo, and site content belong to Maverick Enterprise or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as needed to use the service or as permitted by law.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

ScreenBreak is provided “as is” and “as available,” especially during TestFlight. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every family’s needs. Device management also depends on Apple frameworks and device settings outside our control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maverick Enterprise is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or device mismanagement arising from your use of ScreenBreak. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid to us for ScreenBreak in the 12 months before the claim (if any) or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
